CHALLENGE

Yanga Dental aimed to revolutionize the way dental clinics and patients handle appointments by introducing a digital platform. Our goal was to create a seamless, efficient experience for both parties, saving time and eliminating frustration caused by outdated manual systems.

SOLUTION

I approached this challenge with a user-centered design process, conducting thorough research to understand the pain points of both patients and clinic staff. The resulting web app allowed patients to easily book, reschedule, and cancel appointments at their convenience. For clinics, the integrated admin dashboard streamlined management, ensuring real-time updates on availability, and eliminating double bookings or missed appointments.

Intuitive UX/UI: Designed for ease of use, from the moment users land on the platform. The clean interface makes booking simple and fast for all demographics.

  • Real-Time Scheduling: Synchronizes with clinic availability, allowing patients to choose time slots that work best for them without the need to call.

  • Administrative Efficiency: The platform includes features for clinics to manage bookings, patient data, and schedules, improving overall workflow.

  • Patient Notifications: Automated reminders and notifications keep patients informed, reducing no-shows and improving clinic revenue.

Research-Driven Design: The initial user research revealed common frustrations with traditional booking methods. These insights shaped the overall experience, ensuring that the app addressed real needs.

  • Usability Testing: Through several rounds of testing with both clinic staff and patients, we refined the design to be more intuitive and accessible.

  • Business Impact: The introduction of Yanga Dental’s platform significantly reduced the time spent on manual scheduling, allowing clinics to focus more on patient care, while patients benefited from the convenience of booking anytime, anywhere.


Patient List & Sales Analysis

The system offers an organized patient list where clinic can manage all patient data, including appointment history, medical records, and contact information. This feature helps clinics track patient interactions and plan follow-ups, ensuring a smooth patient flow and improving service quality.

  • As the Product Designer for the Yanga Dental platform, I was tasked with transforming a traditional manual scheduling system into a user-friendly digital experience that benefits both clinics and patients.
